coverings for sterile environments, and for applications in the
building/architectural spheres such as pillar and/or column coverings.
Vitreous enamel steel for the health sector
The use of vitreous enamel steel in the health field and in specific areas such
as Operating theatres, delivery rooms and intensive care units, has proved
highly successful thanks to features such as: the high degree of hygiene
offered, resistance against bacteria and moulds, resistance to organic
substances and decontamination ease.
These panels are ideal for covering operating theatres, corridors, laboratories
and areas that are open to the public, as well as for toilet areas.
The covering panels are made up as follows:

A sheet of
decarbonized steel with a thickness of 1-1,5 mm., with box folded edges,
vitreous enamel covered with acid resistant enamels of class “A” in the
pastel shade of your choice, according to the samples to be approved in
advance.

Strengthening
counter-plating, made from sheets of sintered anhydrite (plasterboard) or
calcium silicate or honeycombed aluminum with an average thickness of 12 mm
applied to the vitreous enamel with suitable adhesive.

Equalizing of
the vitreous enamel panels made of flat sections of galvanized steel
sheeting with a thickness of 0.5-0.8 mm which is applied by means of
pressurized adhesive application to the counter-plated sections.

The maximum
dimensions of the boxed vitreous enamel panels being of mm. 1200Lx2920H.

ideal for use in the building and urban furnishing sectors.
